"Volunteer Drug
Screening Program"
The Remembering ADAM Volunteer Drug Screening Program was developed in 2000 to promote healthy life decisions for students in grades 6 through 12. The program objective for these students is to sustain a drug free lifestyle while actively participating in the Volunteer Drug Screening Program.
This program provides substance abuse prevention education within each school district on a daily basis. Students participating in the program have made a commitment to live a drug free lifestyle, which carries over to multiple aspects of their lives, including home, school, community, and peer groups.
This program is promoting change within schools, communities, and families, which sends a consistent message that it is acceptable to be drug free. It provides members with a sense of belonging, confidence, pride, and the opportunity to influence others. These students are sending a life message; "We are drug free and proud of it."
The Volunteer Drug Screening Program is used as a substance abuse prevention tool. |
